In this phase, the course is only open to ICMR scientists. All interested candidates will be required to fill the application form and complete the evaluations for admission into the program. The evaluation forms include three subjective questions and a short aptitude test.
2How can I apply for this course?
If you’re interested in enrolling for this course, you can fill the application form, following which there would be a short aptitude test. The date for the aptitude test will be announced in advance.
3Can I redo my entrance test if I am unhappy with my performance?
Each candidate can only undertake the entrance test once, for each year’s intake.

5Will this course be entirely online?
This course merges two modalities, for a unique learning experience. While the lectures will be delivered as pre-recorded online sessions, participants will also have opportunities to learn offline through in-person meetings and other activities conducted in person.
6How many levels does the course have?
The course comprises 3 levels- Basic Intermediate and Advanced. Each level comprises 5 modules each. You can find more details about the course structure and timelines on our program schedule.
7Can I skip a level of the course?
No, each level of the course is mandatory for completion of the program and award of certification.
8Does each level have a time limit?
No, there is no time limit, but each level would only be available for 45 days. Within this period, you can decide your pace of learning.
9Can I go re-do a level after submission of answers?
No, once you have submitted your answers for the evaluation test of that particular level, you will not be able to re-do it.
10Will I get a certificate upon completion of this course?
Yes! A certificate will be awarded to all applicants who have successfully completed all three levels.

All interested candidates will be required to fill the application form and complete the evaluations for admission into the program. The evaluation forms comprise a Statement of Purpose and a short objective test on the basics of communications.

3Can I redo my entrance test if I am unhappy with my performance?
Each candidate can only undertake the entrance test once, for each year’s intake. You can apply for the course again when applications open for the next batch.
4If I am unable to enrol this year, will my scores remain valid for the next year’s intake?
Should you choose to withdraw your name from the program, at any stage, you will be required to take the entrance test for the year when you wish to enrol. Test scores will lapse after the declaration of the merit list for each batch.
5When does the course start?
The course commences from September of each year, for a 4-month period.
6Is there any fee for this course?
The course is free for ICMR scientists. However, candidates from other institutions will be charged a nominal fee for the course.
7Will this course be entirely online?
This course merges two modalities, for a unique learning experience. While the lectures will be delivered as pre-recorded online sessions, participants will also have opportunities for in-person meetings during the orientation and valedictory meetings. Additionally, participants will be required to develop group presentations as part of their final evaluation, which will be showcased during the valedictory ceremony at MICA Campus, Ahmedabad.
8I am enrolled in the course. How will I get my User ID and Password?
After your enrolment into the course, your User ID and password will be sent to your registered email ID. We request you to keep a record of the same, for the duration of the course.
9I have forgotten my User ID and or Password. What can I do?
In case, you’ve misplaced your User ID and or password, click on the forgot my user ID / password button to generate a new ID/password. We request you to keep a note of the same, for the duration of the course.

15What can I do if I fail to qualify a level of the course?
Moving to the next level is incumbent on qualifying the previous level. However, we’ve ensured that the lectures and reading materials will enable you to ace every test!
16Will I get a certificate upon completion of this course?
Yes! Upon completion of all 3 levels, you will be awarded a certification in Public Health Communications.
